With the launch of Youtube.com/schools and the partnership between CUE and Youtube, I am excited to be part of a new workshop from CUE to You.  The Youtube Workshop for Educators is a 3 or 6 hour workshop for educators on how to take advantage of the enormous amount of content for our classroom.  I have helped develop the content for the workshop from my past workshops and with the help of a few Youtube Star Teachers.

If you are interested in the workshop, feel free to contact me or visit cue.org/cuetoyou.

I am happy to announce three different workshops happening this July and August.

First up is the
Rock Star Summer Camp South at New Village Leadership Academy in Calabasas, CA on July 6, 7, & 8, 2011.  This is a three day high energy workshop featuring some of the best professional developers that I have ever worked with.  Check out the site and registration link:  Register Now!

I am fortunate enough to be asked to also present at the northern California version of the event
called Rock Star Summer Central at Minarets High School in O'Neals, CA.  Some of the same presenters will be there plus a few others.  In addition, they have been able to secure the event as the host of a TEDX. "Created in the spirit of TED’s mission, “ideas worth spreading,” the TEDx program is designed to give communities, organizations and individuals the opportunity to stimulate dialogue through TED-like experiences at the local level."  The event takes place on August 2, 3, & 4, 2011For more information, follow the registration link: Register Now!

Lastly, I will be conducting another Around the World in Google Days for the Tulare County Office of Education.
This three-day workshop will focus on Google tools that can forever change the way you teach. Using Google’s free online tools, we will develop a lesson that you can use in your classroom.   You will learn to create collaborative projects, your own website, how to increase communication with students and parents, and travel around the world.  This is a project-based workshop where you will gain hands-on experience with the Google applications. It is right here in Visalia, CA and happens on July 26, 27 & 28, 2011.  Check out the registraiton link for more details: http://ctap7.k12oms.org/164-48395
